The first of its kind in the safari industry, this course was developed for the purpose of offering participants a glimpse into the life and work of a Safari Guide. This course is a condensed version of the accredited FGASA Field Guide NQF2 course and teaches participants the practical and theoretical knowledge of the natural environment
Participants will learn how to identify and interpret elements of the natural environment. This course is intelligently designed to give learners the best immersive environmental learning experience whilst understanding the roles and some techniques of a professional field guide. This is a great course for those who are still deciding if a career as a safari guide is what they want to pursue.
This course comprises of 28-days of theoretical and practical training with highly qualified instructors.

Fit and able to walk 5kms a day (sometimes in high heat!)
Be 18 years of age or older
The sleeping arrangements at all our camps consist of two people sharing per tent. A surcharge of 30% will be applicable for single occupancy requests. Women and men do not share tents unless booked as a couple.
Early morning wake-up (tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh fruit and cereal)
Brunch after activity (cooked breakfast and fruit salad)
Afternoon tea (light lunch / sandwiches)
Dinner (balanced, warm plated meal with meat, vegetables and salad)
